Andrew E. Levin, Ph.D.
Chief Executive Officer and Scientific Director
Dr. Levin is the founder of the company and developed its first patented products. He has over 20 years of research experience focused on infectious disease assay techniques and a large portfolio of patents and intellectual property. He has overseen the development and production of over 20 in vitro diagnostic products and 10 instruments. He organized and directed clinical trials and FDA submissions for four products which resulted in FDA approvals. Dr. Levin has been awarded over twelve SBIR grants and contracts from the NIH and CDC. Prior to founding Immunetics, he was the recipient of an NIH postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University. Dr. Levin received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Princeton University and Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from The University of Wisconsin.
Neil X. Krueger, Ph.D.
Research Manager
Dr. Krueger joined Immunetics in 2007 following 20 years of research experience in molecular biology. He has held senior research positions at CellPoint Diagnostics and prior to that, at Amgen San Francisco. Dr. Krueger received a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Chicago and a Ph.D. in Immunology from Harvard University. His published research work covers signal transduction biochemistry, detection of genetic polymorphisms, microarray-based genomic hybridization, and other areas of molecular biology, in addition to which he is an inventor on numerous patents in the area of circulating tumor cell detection.
Richard Pinkowitz, Ph.D.
Vice President
Dr. Pinkowitz has held senior management positions in sales and marketing at major healthcare companies, most recently including Inverness Medical Technology and its predecessor, Selfcare. He brings over 30 years of experience in sales of healthcare products and services, and was on the management team which brought Inverness from start-up to $50 million in sales.
Lynda S. Mungo, Ph.D.
QA/QC Manager
Dr. Mungo oversees the Quality Assurance and Quality Control Department at Immunetics. Before joining Immunetics, Dr. Mungo was a Senior Manager in the Quality Control Department at MBL, an FDA-licensed manufacturer of vaccines and other biologic therapeutics. Dr. Mungo received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Colby College and Ph.D. in Biology from Dartmouth College. She also conducted postdoctoral research in biochemistry and molecular biology at Brown University and Boston University Medical School.
